CEO of St Edmunds Society
Lorraine is CEO of St Edmunds Society based in Norwich where she has been since 1991. She is widely regarded as a champion of young people and has campaigned for improved opportunities for those that have struggled in, or been unable to cope in traditional, educational settings. In recognition of her efforts, last year she received an MBE in the 2018 New Year’s Honours List. Her energy seldom wanes, and she is striving to identify ways to make the plight of young people who she describes as the “forgotten generation” better.
She enjoys travelling with her supportive husband, Alan, and spending time with the rest of her family. Her secret vices are her two Boxer Dogs, Floyd and Ruben, and is a lifelong passionate “Gooner” (Arsenal fan).
Lorraine Bliss, MBE will be coming to SearchNorwich 4 to explain what the St. Edmunds Society do and how you can get involved.
